In 2011, Lorry's LBI Motel had a phenominal year setting another new record of 74 days in a row without an opening. We Appreciate and Thank our thousands of Guests from 47 States and 26 Foreign Countries for your business and look forward to seeing you at Lorry's Island End Motel in 2012.
New For 2012 - All of Lorry's Motel rooms have new drapes and new bedspreads.
Also New In 2012 - For parents who want to bathe their small children while at Lorry's Motel in a tub (not a shower), we have a small plastic tub that will be kept in our storage shed. Just ask myself (Bill Hutson) or Lorry's Managers to get the small plastic tub out of the storage shed if you would like to use it to bathe your small children.
Was New In 2011 - Free Wi-Fi for the convenience of our LBI Guests.
Also Was New In 2011 - Free Internet in Lorry's Motel Office for our Guests that don't have a portable device and need to briefly check e-mail, plan the rest of their vacation, or get driving directions, etc.
Was New In 2011 - Expanded Free Continental Breakfast with a wider selection of bagels consisting of 10 varities: plain, everything, cinnamin raisin, poppy, sesame, french toast, egg, blueberry, rye and healthy multi-grain.
Was New In 2010 - 10 More Bicycle Racks below (23 Total) as people love to bicycle & exercise at this peaceful end of Long Beach Island.

Also Was New In 2010: Lorry's Motel has expanded its arrangement with a local LBI store to make it easy for you to rent additional items to include: bicycles, have a surf lesson or rent a surf board, rent a skim board or boogie board, or rent a beach chair or umbrella & kids cabana, etc.
Now With Your Lorry's LBI Motel Reservation, you can arrange for any of the above items to be rented and delivered to Lorry's Motel. Also while you are on vacation at Lorry's Motel, you can ask Lorry's Manager or Owner to arrange to have any of the above items delivered to and picked up at Lorry's Motel.
This courtesy by Lorry's Motel will enable you to relax more on your LBI vacation because you don't have to spend time getting the items and then returning them when you are done. This is an easy way for Lorry's Motel to help you have more relaxing vacation time.
* Umbrellas - $7 a day and $15 per week
* Beach Chairs - $10 a day and $20 per week
* 2 Chairs & Umbrella - $20 a day and $45 per week
* New Rental Bicycles - $20 a day, $35 per weekend & $45 weekly
* Surf Board Rentals - $20 a day, $35 per weekend & $60 weekly
* Surfing Lessons - $60 a lesson per person & $150 for a 3 lesson package per person. All surfing lessons include A Free LBI Bumber Sticker and if you decide to buy a surfboard $50 off the purchase price.

Also Was New in 2009, Lorry's Motel has a "Sandbox" and kids play area next to the kids picnic table So You Can Keep An Eye On Them.
Lorry's Motel provides some shovels, buckets and toys for your kids to play with in the sandbox (picture below).
In addition in 2009, Lorry's Island End Motel was one of the sponsors of the first 18 Mile LBI Island Wide Green Up Clean Up April 25, 09.
Lorry's Motel also was one of the 30 LBI businesses that signed up to be Distribution Points for Volunteers to meet at 9 am to pick up gloves, trash bags, etc.

I bought Lorry's Island End Motel in 1990 at an auction because I love this Beautiful and Peaceful laid back end of Long Beach Island, NJ. I hope you also will fall in love with the Beautiful Southern Long Beach Island tip like I did.
The reason I put my picture on Lorry's website is to Assure You that I am a "Hands On" owner and Lorry's Motel staff and myself make every effort possible to have Lorry's Island End Motel be the Best LBI Motel we can make it.
We are not perfect, but we try very hard to give our Guests The Best LBI Hotel Or Motel Value On Long Beach Island, New Jersey. Thankfully, we improve Lorry's Island End Motel every year.
Lorry's Motel has been Voted One Of The Top 3 LBI Hotels Or Motels (6 Times) by the Readers of The Islander Paper. Our Courtyard and BBQ Area with gazebo, 2 garden arbors, fountain, flowers, 3 gas grills, kid's picnic table and sandbox, Barnegat Lighthouse replica - and seating for 70 people has won an award from the Readers of The Islander Paper.

Even though Lorry's Motel upgrades and improves every year, We Are Not The Taj Mahal, Ritz Carlton, The Hilton, The Hyatt, The Marriott, Engleside Inn or a perfect LBI motel. We are just an affordable Long Beach Island motel with no luxury suites or rooms.
Lorry's Island End Motel Is Still Affordable On LBI providing you with a laid back, comfortable, friendly, family atmosphere only 200 yards to the LBI Beach - that is close to Beach Haven, NJ on Long Beach Island.

Our Family Neighborhood Is Peaceful & Laid Back
We feel Our LBI Family Neighborhood Is An Advantage To You because it is peaceful and laid back as compared to nearby lively Beach Haven, NJ only 4 minutes away by car and 15 minutes by bicycle.
The houses at this end of Long Beach Island, NJ vary from regular LBI shore houses, small cape cods and trailers, to huge LBI mega mansions valued at 1.4 million - 2.9 million dollars each.

P.S. - For Your Information, there are 175 Less LBI Hotel Or Motel Rooms since 2005 because the Quartedeck Motel with 50 rooms was torn down to make high end condos, The Ebb Tide Motel with 15 rooms and the Mussel Beach Club Motel with 10 rooms were also converted to condos as the demand for Long Beach Island, NJ housing is great.
