These LBI bicycle lanes are within the white lines on both sides of Long Beach Blvd. and run for 2 miles each way to Beach Haven, NJ for A Total Of 4 Miles Of LBI Bicycle Lanes.
They go from The Wildlife Preserve Parking Lot (Only 1 Street From Lorry's Motel) to Beach Haven and back. They are used for biking, walking, jogging & roller blading, etc. on LBI.
You have 3 good options to bicycle & have some fun while at Lorry's:
1) Bring your own bicycles that you are comfortable with.
2) Rent New LBI bicycles & Lorry's Motel Makes ALL Arrangements.
3) Lorry's Motel loans our Guests used bicycles.
1) Lorry's Motel Encourages You To Bring Your Own Bicycles as this southern end of Long Beach Island, NJ has 4 Miles Of Bicycle Lanes with Very Little LBI Traffic Or People as compared to nearby Beach Haven, NJ. Also, Lorry's Motel has bike racks for 23 bicycles in our rear parking lot where you can lock your bicycles.
2) Rent New LBI Bicycles Is Easy Lorry's Makes All Arrangements
If you don't want to bring your bikes to Long Beach Island, ask Lorry's Manager or Owner to arrange to have your rented bike/s delivered and picked up at Lorry's Motel. That way you stay on vacation and relax and don't have to go get the bike/s and then return them when you are done. This is an easy way to have some LBI fun.
Lorry's Motel makes ALL the arrangements for your LBI bike rental (please notify us in advance). These new rental bikes are Very Good Bikes With No Rust costing only $20 a day, $30 per weekend and $45 weekly.
3) Lorry's Motel Loans Our Guests Free "Used Bicycles" - Lorry's Motel used
bicycles are known as LBI Beach Cruisers and Lorry's Motel has 9 bicycles and
2 kids bikes to loan our Guests on a first come first serve basis during daylight hours. Because these bikes are loaner bikes, they are only to cruise around locally during the day - and they are not new bicycles and have rust on them.
Lorry's complimentary bicycles are to make our Guests happy who don't want to bring their bikes or don't want to rent a bicycle and still want to ride a bike and have some LBI fun and exercise.
Note: Lorry's Motel Is Near The LBI Ocean and salt air corrodes metal at the beach, and so Lorry's bicycles have rust on them and they are not new, but they are Free. If rust on Lorry's Motel Beach Cruisers bothers you, please bring your own bikes or rent some new bikes - please don't complain about our Free Bikes that have rust on them as you have 2 other options available to you.
