1) Holgate Bay Beach - Near Lorry's Motel On LBI

Holgate Bay Beach - Within Walking Distance Of Lorry's - only 3 short streets away. This beach has a children's playground , tennis & basketball court, plus you can go crabbing and fishing. Exit Lorry's and turn tight towards the bay. Go only 75 feet and make 1st right onto West Ave. Continue for only 2 streets to the dead end - the beach is on the left.

2) Nelson Avenue Park Near Lorry's Motel On LBI

Just a short drive from Lorry's. This park features a playground for children, basketball court, handicap child play area, and has a roller rink for hockey and inline skating.It also has restrooms and benches. Exit Lorry's, turn left, when you reach the boulevard turn left again. Go approximately 1.2 miles and see Boardwalk Rentals, turn left onto Nelson Avenue. You will see the park on your right.


           3) Brant Beach / Bay View Park On LBI

Bayside across from Long Beach Twp. Building at 68th Street & Long Beach Boulevard. This beach has a large children's playground, basketball court, volleyball nets and wind surfing. Across the street are 2 tennis courts, a walking/jogging track, a baseball field & rest rooms.



4) Taylor Avenue Park On LBI

This park features a beautiful protected bay beach. It is located in the center of Beach Haven behind Bay Village Shopping Area. It features a swimming beach, kiddie playground, basketball court, gazebo, restrooms and municipal boat ramp. To reach this park - exit Lorry's and turn left, at the Boulevard turn left again. Travel approximately 2 1/2 miles, when you see the Thundering Surf Golf Course on your left, turn left. Take Taylor Avenue straight down to the bay.


5) Bicentennial Park On LBI


There is a museum located directly across the street from this park and there are free concerts during the summer months in the park. To reach this park you exit Lorry's, turn left on Washington Avenue, turn left onto Long Beach Boulevard, turn right onto Engleside Avenue proceed for one block, the park is on your right, and the museum is on your left at the corner.
