Maggie & her daughter Laura have stayed at Lorry's Motel 4 times. Laura said that "Lorry's is her favorite LBI motel. She loves room # 7, beacause it is the first room she ever stayed in on vacation, and it has 2 Queen Beds". Laura saw 20 dolphins in the ocean at the Wildlife Preserve Beach, who were swimming side by side so close to shore that she saw their fins and entire bodies!
Maggie loves Long Beach Island, NJ and Lorry's Motel is her favorite and only place to stay while visiting LBI. Maggie also said "The Area Is Great For Kids, there are very few cars, very little traffic, very few people, the people are friendly and Lorry's Managers bend over backwards to make your stay at Lorry's Motel great."

From Buck & Bridgette R. - Buck and I wanted to Thank You again for making our surprise wedding such a wonderful experience. We could have not done it without all of you! Lorry's has always been a magical place for me and now I have been able to share it with Buck and his family. A very special thanks for reserving room # 7 for us and our post-wedding champagne gift! As you have heard, my parents and I always came to LBI and stayed in that particular room, many times a summer and for many years. What you may not have known is that both of my parents have since passed away. My mother when I was nine and my father some years ago. So by having our weddng at Lorry's on LBI, it was almost like having my parents with me! It could not have been more perfect! We look forward to seeing you next year!

You have the perfect set-up. Keep up the excellent work. P.S. I love being able to hear the ocean at night from my room.

Their website is honest, informative and complete. I have been a loyal customer ever since. The Staff & Owner are friendly and helpful in making sure your stay has been a pleasant one. I have stayed there 3 times this year alone - the quality is consistent and there are no unpleasant surprises. The beach is just a short walk from Lorry's. You can hear the ocean from the second floor deck of the Motel. The LBI Beaches are safe and well patrolled. The area around Lorry's is residential which makes for a quiet and peaceful atmosphere and a relaxing vacation.
